Frankie Lymon did not live to see his 25th birthday as he passed away at the age of 25 from a drug overdose. However, at the height of his career in the 1950s, he was a popular American singer and songwriter. Lymon was the lead singer of the group The Teenagers and their hit songs included "Why Do Fools Fall in Love" and "Goody Goody". He was known for his high pitched voice, energetic performances, and signature dance moves. Lymon's fame and success unfortunately also led to struggles with drug addiction and legal troubles.
